The Institut Mines-Télécom has set itself the brief of supporting companies, and society more generally, through the major transitions of the 21st century: digital, energy, environmental and industrial. To meet these technological challenges, the school is developing research in 3 main areas of expertise: energy and environment, digital systems, materials and processes. In addition, there is a human and social sciences dimension to analyse the transformations of organisations in the face of the digitisation and internationalisation of companies.
Research and innovation are also at the heart of the IMT Nord Europe educational project. Because they ensure the continuous adaptation of training to the rapid development of engineering sciences and techniques. Because students work in research laboratories throughout their studies. Because those who wish to can reinforce their experience through research training. Because FabLab, incubator and projects sponsored by companies are all opportunities to help students to fulfil their ambitions.
