Further information
Hybrid teaching
The training program is specifically designed to enable employees to pursue both their training and their professional activities.
Some weeks of training (one per month) are classroom-based and full-time; others alternate with work:
Full-time classroom training: 35% of the hourly volume, i.e. 12 weeks of training at IMT Nord Europe, Lille site.
On-the-job training: 65% of the hourly volume. 2 to 3 hours per day on average (except for specific weeks devoted to the end-of-studies project and study report). Some methods are flexible in terms of time (self-training); others, such as virtual classes, bring all trainees together with the teacher/expert; dates and times are therefore pre-established.
Support
To compensate for the lack of reference points that blended learning can induce, the relationship between the trainee and the school is ensured by a pedagogical assistant who can deal with, or arrange for the handling of, any problems, difficulties or information relating to the training course.
This person is physically present during face-to-face weeks, and can be contacted by telephone and e-mail outside these weeks.
Training location
Training takes place on the Villeneuve d’Ascq campus in the Lille metropolitan area: Cité Scientifique, Rue Guglielmo Marconi, 59653 Villeneuve d’Ascq.
