Advanced Master® Expert in AI and Data Strategy and Transformation
The Advanced Master’s® program in “Expert in AI and Data Strategy and Transformation” aims to train specialist executives who are proficient in AI project management tools and methods, with the goal of supporting the development of AI deployment strategies within companies, maximizing their impact. The specialists trained will be able to define and lead projects at the intersection of business strategy, AI, and data.
The program directly addresses the emerging needs of professions such as AI transition manager, AI program manager, and AI strategy consultant.
This Advanced Master’s program is being developed as part of the AMI-CMA “MACMIA” (Massification of Artificial Intelligence Skills and Professions) initiative, of which IMT is a winner. This call for expressions of interest in skills and professions of the future aims to diversify, expand, and make training in AI and Data Science accessible to a wider audience, but also in terms of the ability to create value for the company through these AI projects, in line with the company’s strategy and roadmap.

Skills
The activities carried out mainly relate to the fields of artificial intelligence, business strategy, and management. They are involved throughout the entire life cycle of an AI project: defining requirements, design, implementation, management, evaluation, and change management.
To carry out these activities, the necessary skills depend on:
- Defining the AI strategy and roadmap aligned with the company’s strategy
- Analyzing business needs, scoping projects, and assessing their relevance, value, and return on investment
- Designing or supervising appropriate AI solutions and selecting relevant technologies
Collecting, structuring, and managing the data required for the project in compliance with legal and regulatory constraints (GDPR, intellectual property) - Setting up and leading a project team, in collaboration with sponsors and the relevant business lines
- Overseeing the creation of prototypes, integrating performance indicators, risk monitoring, and quality control
- Monitoring of AI models once deployed, tracking their performance, data quality, and security
- Production and maintenance of project documentation, monitoring reports, and summaries tailored to the various stakeholders
- Anticipation of organizational, human, and ethical impacts and change management support
- Transfer of skills to internal teams to ensure the sustainability and maintainability of the solution.

Admissions
Prerequisites
This Advanced Master’s program is open to students with engineering degrees, or professionals (managers, executives, etc.) with scientific or technical backgrounds and a strong interest in digital technologies or data, who hold one of the following degrees/qualifications:
- Engineering degree accredited by the CTI (5 years of higher education)
- Master’s degree (Bac+5)
- Master’s degree (Bac+4) or Bachelor’s degree (Bac+4) with three years of professional experience
- RNCP Level 7 qualification
- Foreign degrees equivalent (Bac+5) to the French degrees required above.
All foreign diplomas must be officially translated into French or English and certified by ENIC-NARIC.
Procédure d'admissions
The application is reviewed by the academic director and then submitted to an admissions committee, which meets four times between March and June.
Applicants are notified of the committee’s decision by email.
Candidate
Registration for the 2026/2027 Advanced Master’s program will open in March 2026.

Calendar
The program lasts 12 months:
September to October: full-time training at school
November to March: alternating between 15 days at school and 15 days at a company
April to August: full-time at a company.
The start date for the 2026 session is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2 (date subject to change).

Develop an AI strategy aligned with business challenges
- by evaluating opportunities for adopting AI solutions through cost/benefit analyses and ROI measurements over different time horizons.
- by building a strategic roadmap for AI integration that is consistent with business, regulatory, and technological priorities, as well as data governance.
- by advising executives on strategic decisions regarding investments and AI deployment scenarios.
- by anticipating the organizational, human, ethical, and societal impacts of AI projects to ensure responsible and sustainable transformation.
Analyze business needs and define an AI project framework
- by gathering and formalizing the needs expressed by stakeholders, taking into account the context, challenges, and objectives of the company.
- by supporting the customer’s decision-making process by highlighting the benefits of AI solutions and explaining their operational effects.
- by recommending value-creating AI technologies, integrating risks related to data, interactions, ethics, and security.
- By analyzing the skills required to build a suitable project team (internal staff, service providers, suppliers).
Design, prototype, and deploy an AI solution
- by sizing the necessary physical and software architectures according to performance metrics and regulatory constraints (GDPR, intellectual property, security).
- by collecting, structuring, and managing the data necessary for the AI project in accordance with legal and contractual requirements.
- by overseeing the design and prototyping of the AI product, integrating monitoring, performance, and risk indicators as well as user feedback.
- by identifying the business processes impacted and coordinating testing and validation with business units and sponsors.
- by overseeing the development of the AI product, integrating technical, economic, regulatory, and legal constraints.
Supervise, maintain, and improve AI models in production
- by implementing and following procedures for maintaining and monitoring AI models (supervision, performance, security).
- by measuring the impact of the AI model on IT infrastructure, data, and operations.
- by formalizing structured summaries and feedback in order to identify areas for improvement in practices and processes.
- By assessing the costs of the necessary technical, material, and human resources, based on their expertise and feedback.
Leading an AI project and supporting organizational change
- by managing the AI project using a tailored approach that ensures deadlines, costs, and resources are met.
- by developing an internal and external communication strategy to promote the flow of information to teams and sponsors.
- by supporting the organizational and human transformations brought about by AI, mobilizing stakeholders and ensuring buy-in.
- by transferring the technical and operational skills necessary for the sustainability and maintainability of the AI solution to internal teams.

Tarifs
Application fee: €60 non-refundable.
Tuition fees:
€7,500 for recent graduates continuing their studies, job seekers, or individuals financing their own studies;
€12,500 for companies
Payable in three installments over the academic year, with the first installment paid at the time of registration and refundable in the event of visa refusal. Payments can be made by bank transfer or check.
