IMT Nord Europe ranks among the top 15 engineering schools in France.
L’Étudiant, a leading French media outlet for higher education, has just published its annual ranking of the best engineering schools in France. IMT Nord Europe made a remarkable leap, reaching 15th place out of 170 institutions ranked (27th in 2024).
Every year at the beginning of the year, rankings of the top engineering schools are published, accessible either after completing a Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Écoles (CPGE) or directly after the baccalauréat via Parcoursup. This year, 170 institutions were carefully reviewed by L’Étudiant’s journalists.
Whether public or private, post-baccalaureate or post-preparatory, all ranked engineering programs lead to a Master’s degree and are accredited to award the title of engineer by the CTI (Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur). This 2025 ranking, based on numerous quantitative and qualitative criteria, highlights research and academic excellence, international influence, social openness and CSR, professionalization, and employment of recent graduates across the 170 ranked schools.
With an overall score of 82 out of 119, IMT Nord Europe ranks 15th nationally and 1st among the 16 engineering schools in Hauts-de-France, ahead of École Centrale de Lille (2nd) and UTC Compiègne (3rd).
